Youth and Music Ministry

United Methodist Youth Fellowship Ministry

Spiritual teaching and guidance is a combined focus at AUMC with the UMYF  Group.  The Alamo Youth Group consists of young people ranging in ages from 13 to 18 years of age.  Activities for the youth are sponsored by AUMC and include the quarterly AUMC work day.The youth group participates in community and church sponsored projects providing the building blocks for a sound spiritual and caring adult life.  The education of Christian principles through Bible study and discussion is the primary focus of the AUMC UM Youth. The Youth group meets Sundays at 5:00 PM.  Our UMYF Group  attends a few youth retreats  to build strength in their spiritual foundation and return renewed in spirit and a fire with God’s Word.  They also support AGAPE Ministries by working at the local AGAPE office and distribution center in San Antonio.

Alamo UMC Kids’ Zone

Click the link above to go to the Kids’ Zone Web site.  The Alamo UMC Kids’ Zone  was developed to provide a faith based site for children to visit and participate in the activities of the website in a fun and spiritual atmosphere. We hope that parents will spread the word of our activities  and coloring book pages. In the future these pages may move to Youth Ministries under Alamo UMC Home page.
